Moonlight Woodies Restorations

Moonlight Woodies is unlike other auto restoration companies in that we thrive on "box 'o parts" - and believe us...there's a lot of woodie owners who bought their cars by way of a chassis, floor pan, cowl, and a box 'o parts with a comment from the seller that "everything is here, you just have to put it together!"

We've also had the pleasure of putting finishing touches on beautiful woodies, both modified and stock. We stain and match new wood parts to match existing, finish interior detailing

Although George runs a one-man shop, he has close access: Just a few doors away is one of the country's top auto upholsterers who has done Street Rod of the Year at least twice, Pebble Beach Concourse cars, and many significant restorations of early era hot rods. Also located just a couple of shop doors down, is also an excellent paint and body shop who has been commissioned to finish a number of top show cars and restorations.

We also have connections with specialists in metal wood graining and mechanical repair - when it comes to getting the job done, sometimes it's just knowing who to call!

Whether we're getting your car ready for the season, or saving it from the fire pit - we'll do everything possible to get it on the road -

Moonlight Woodies believes that if you own a woodie, you have to drive it - they only look like furniture!

Below are some of our completed projects. As you browse, remember that there's nothing FAST about bringing a Woodie back to life! Depending on the condition of the car and the size of the "box 'o parts" it could take from a few weeks to a year to complete your project. If you would like to talk more about your project and check shop scheduling, etc. give George a call at the shop, (805) 927-2960, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5: p.m. (more or

less!) We guarantee that we will not accept a project that can't be finished!
